The beautiful few days burst of sunshine certainly put a spring in our step. And we made the most of it.
We had our first group lunch of the year outside. Everyone agreed, the warmth of the sun on our faces was such a tonic. Somehow everything seemed sunnier, from the nodding daffodils, to the green fields stretching over to the Malvern Hills. All the birds and insects seemed to have woken up and our sensory garden was buzzing with life.
Spring in the garden
We also had a floristry session in the garden as part of our Mothering Sunday celebrations and a delicious afternoon tea. Our mums were delighted to receive so many beautiful bouquets and sweet treats. It was also a time of reflections and happiness, recalling childhood memories with mums, and stories of motherhood.
Astley Fools Day
We had some true belly laughs and pesky pranks celebrating the 1st of April. A massive thank you to our team for going above and beyond with their fabulously funny costumes. Ray Mytton filled our home with some upbeat music to get us all in the mood for a boogie and sing along.
