We enjoyed a fabulous Easter of chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate (and some hot cross buns too!) Thank you to our team for helping make some wonderful memories for our residents. There was Easter crafting; painting Easter bunnies and making baskets for all our chocolate eggs. JDR joined us on Good Friday for a brilliant song and dance and the Easter Bunny even hopped by on Easter Sunday!
We joined the nation celebrating and commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE day. Residents crafted poppies for a display in the garden and made a silhouette of a soldier. Such a lovely time spent creating the display evoked lots of wartime memories. On VE Day, we had an afternoon tea and a wonderful performance from the super talented Amanda of www.amandasings.co.uk
There was musical entertainment from Glam Sparrow and Ian Hardman - lots of singing, dancing and toe-tapping along. Creative Mojo, Worcestershire helped residents unleash their inner creativity on World Turtle Day. WE have got outside as much as possible for gardening, relaxing and ice creams. And, we celebrated David's 80th birthday.
