Worcestershire Health & Social Care Awards 2021
Run by Newsquest, the awards honour all those incredible health and care workers who have risen to the challenge of COVID. They celebrate people and teams who have overcome adversity and shown tremendous strength, courage, compassion, and tenacity. Team Lawns are finalists in two categories: Health Care Team and Palliative / End of Life.
The winners will be announced at a virtual awards ceremony on 27th May. A live broadcast on the Worcester News website and social media channels. Good luck Team Lawns!
Animal Antics and Easter celebrations
Move aside the Easter Bunny! Our very own Easter Chicken was on hand to deliver chocolate eggs to our residents. You can imagine the fits of giggles when everyone saw the chicken appear! Plus a few conversations about which came first – the chicken or the egg!
Thank you to Rachel, our community champion from Tesco’s in St Peters, who gifted chocolate eggs to our residents.
After our Easter Sunday afternoon tea, with chocolate tasting and hot cross buns, we had our Easter hat competition. A whole lot of crafting went into residents and staffs hat creations. Thank you to Dunelm in Worcester for donating the prizes.
