A Platinum Award and Nomination for Care Home of the Year
Our home manager, Melanie attended the prestigious Gold Standards Framework Care Awards ceremony in London last week, to receive their Platinum Award.
This is the highest level of award given by the Gold Standards Framework, a care quality kitemark for exceptional palliative / end of life care. Platinum status is only given to care homes which show a sustained excellence in palliative care and The Lawns has held GSF accreditation since 2013.
The Lawns was also shortlisted for GSF Care Home of the Year, as a home that has shown examples of best practice and is an inspiration to others. Melanie was asked to speak at the ceremony, which was a huge honour.
“I am so proud of Team Lawns and all they do to make a difference every day.”
