The Awards Ceremony
It was with huge pride that Carol Harris, manager at the Lawns, collected the Gold Standards Framework Quality Hallmark Award. This was the second time the Award has been given to The Lawns, and there was a stunning awards dinner in London.
To yet again achieve this Award reflects the continual dedication and highest level of care provided at The Lawns.

What is the Gold Standards Framework?
The Gold Standards Framework is the UK’s leading provider in training in end of life care for frontline staff. To ensure the integrity of their work, they developed the Quality Hallmark Accreditation Process, to demonstrate sustained good practice.
It is a huge honour to attain an Award having undertaking this accreditation process, “Going for Gold” and achieving Gold!
The assessors look at what enables a gold standard of care for all people nearing the end of their life – it gives each person the right care, at the right place and at the right time, every time.
The framework supports not only the person nearing the end of their life, but also their families and carers.
It ensures exemplary care, to give a better life for each person and takes into account compassion, communication and both medical and personal needs.
