Residents of Astley Hall enjoyed a morning out at Wyre Forest.
This is a great place to take residents and is a favourite destination. There are lots of wide wheelchair friendly trails through the trees of the Wyre Forest. The Gruffalo trail was so lovely and we found the sleeping Gruffalo. Our residents were delighted to hear the story, as this is now a modern classic. There were lots of birds to spot on the way and we even heard a woodpecker. The visitors centre also has a fabulous cafe where we stopped for tea and cake.
