We have a lovely Summerhouse which is spacious enough for seating and a table a chairs. Residents can enjoy the garden even in the worst of weathers! But it was in need of a makeover!
And so the Summerhouse makeover team was put together, to spruce up the Summerhouse in time for our garden party. The team comprised Summerdyne staff members; Rick Simpson, Natasha Jackson, Dave Khalsa, Tuula Page and Ruth Hanlon.
The colour scheme was chosen – blue for the walls with white windows and doors. Window boxes were planted at the windows and pots of bedding plants around the door. Also, the interior: A cream colour for the walls, new curtains and rattan furniture. We think you will agree from the photos, that the team did a splendid job!
Tuula, our Summerdyne manager said “Hopefully it will be used by the residents and their families as a place to sit and enjoy a quiet cup of tea.”
