In time honoured Lawns tradition, we have attempted to shoehorn some of our 2019 events into this Christmas classic. No doubt we will be having a sing-song to this one and many others around our piano this festive season!

Thank you to the children of Kempsey Primary school for visiting us throughout the year. World Book Day with your super imaginative costumes (especially the Gangsta Grannies!) was a special highlight.

Our challenge to combat loneliness has received amazing support. Our residents felt like they travelled the world this summer. They reply to every postcard, so do write if you are having a winter getaway.

Thank you to our wider Lawns community for answering our calls for help. From volunteering your time to share with residents, to transporting our team on snow days, to donating 100 rocks for our alpine garden.

…….made by our residents and many, many more by our chef Anita. She starts Christmas Day here at 4.45am getting the turkey in the oven – a super star!

The children of Magic Moments pre-school have delighted our residents all year. Their squeals of laughter playing hide and seek in the lounge and catching bubbles in the garden – just lovely.

Animal antics with visits from all sorts of animals – the alpacas in the lift were particularly memorable!
3 Crazy pirates (well 2 and a parrot!)
Never a dull moment! Dress as a Pirate day was no exception! Silly pirate jokes and that naughty parrot.
2 Milk Tray men
You can imagine the delight on our ladies faces when two handsome chaps, all suited and booted, presented each of them with a red rose and a box of Milk Tray on Valentines Day.
