A huge thank you to everyone who supported our summer fundraiser on 16th June. This was our big fundraising annual BBQ event and we have raised £1,073.
The Summer Fundraiser
Our BBQ is the highlight of the Summer calendar at West Eaton. Our local community attend the event, donate raffle prizes and their time to ensure the day is a success. Thank you to all of them.
It was all hands on deck too at West Eaton in the run up to the day. Our crafters made banners and some of our bakers helped make the cakes and biscuits to sell on the cake stall.
We were rather worried about rain, given June’s inclement weather, but thankfully the rain held off!
In addition to the BBQ, there was music, singing, a cake stall and tombola. For the kiddies, mini-trains and a bouncy castle. Our staff has a lot of laughs testing that out!!

What is the fundraising for?
The £1,073 raised is a fabulous amount and we are so grateful for everyone’s generosity. The money goes towards our Resident’s Fund to benefit our residents and enhance their wellbeing. Every penny goes towards funding activities and entertainers throughout the year.
