We have had a wonderful time with our residents celebrating Easter in all the traditional ways.
Everyone got involved with the many crafting activities organised throughout Lent. We decorated paper eggs to hang on the Easter tree in our conservatory. Our dining room and lounge were adorned with hand made paper chains. Some beautiful bonnets were made. Carrot biscuits were decorated. Lydia particularly loved that, under the watchful eye of Doreen!
Good Friday afternoon we settled down for a classic film – Easter Parade with Judy Garland and Fred Astaire. Thoroughly enjoyable, particularly when our chef brought in the warm buttered hot cross buns.
And of course there were chocolate eggs a-plenty and lots of times spent with family and friends over the bank holiday weekend.
