A Valentines Day to remember.

This year at The Lawns we had the men from Milk Tray and the Queen of Hearts.

The Iconic advert

And all because the lady loves…..

Who doesn’t remember the iconic Cadbury’s adverts? The man from Milk Tray delivering that box of chocs with his calling card, in his inevitable style! Our residents certainly do!

You can see from the photos below the surprise and delight on our ladies faces when the Milk Tray men appeared at their sides with a box of Milk Tray and a red rose. Thank you to our handsome Milk Tray men Gareth and Simon. They were such good sports and brought so many smiles and so much laughter to our home this Valentines Day.

The Queen of Hearts

Not wanting our gentlemen residents to miss out, Joy dressed up as the Queen of Hearts to bestow chocolate gifts. There were cards everywhere, both vintage and modern. The air was filled with love and lots of hugs were shared, as were memories of Valentines from long ago.

Joy as the Queen of Hearts

We also had a couples lunch in our dining room with Valentines table decorations and a wonderful meal, lovingly prepared by our chef Anita. There was Valentine crafting with red button heart collages on canvas boards.

Love was certainly in the air this Valentines Day at The Lawns.
