Charlie Bitchenor, our Training Manager, is a FINALIST at the Worcestershire Health and Social Care Awards 2022 in the Care Trainer Category.
This is a fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved. Charlie is responsible for overseeing all aspects of training within Heritage Manor.
She ensures new starters attend a three day induction course covering all topics in the Care Certificate plus Progression of Life and Pressure Access Care. She then ensures they are supported in their new roles with Peer Mentoring.
Charlie is a qualified nurse and helps with our nurse training. She supports all nurses with their revalidation requirements and any specialist training they require.
She makes sure all staff are kept up to date with all their training requirements. This covers all aspects from Maintenance, Kitchen staff, Housekeepers, administrators to care staff. This ensures compliance with CQC regulations. Also she helps staff with their career progression.
Charlie is incredibly approachable, a great teacher and it is fantastic to have her on our team!
