We had a fabulous Summer Fete at the end of July. The sun shone and there were smiles all round. Thanks to our staffing team for helping on the day with the BBQ and refreshments and running the tombola, games, face-painting and many stalls.

Thanks to our residents for helping with the baking for the cake stall and all their famnily and friends for supporting the event.
Thank you to Hopleys Camping for letting us use their overflow carpark for parking. And to our parking attendants!
Thank you to all local businesses in and around Bewdley, who gave donations and vouchers for our raffle, including The Running Horse, The Rajah, Severn Valley Alpacas, West Midlands Safari Park and The Rustic Kitchen.
Also thanks to Flip and Dippy, who kept every generation entertained with their balloon modelling.
We are delighted to announce that we raised a massive £573.90 for our Residents Fund, so we can bring more fun events, activities and experiences to our residents.
In other news...
We have celebrated the birthdays of two of our lovely ladies, Jean and Margaret, both 89 years young.
There was another great lunch trip out to our friends at The Running Horse. It's a favourite destination for one of our gents for a cold pint on a hot summers day. Lovely food, drink & company. It’s always a pleasure.
Another fabulous morning with Ian James - the heatwave didn't stop us singing and dancing through the day! And all the props out for a sing song with Glam Sparrow.

David at G-fitness put us through our paces with lots of seated exercised to keep residents strong, help with balance and co-ordination.
Then for something a bit different, a visit from Wings of Freedom, with their magnificent birds of prey. It was amazing to have the opportunity to hold the owls and falcons and we learnt so much about them. A day spent with animals is a day well spent, so thank you also to Libby for bringing in her dogs Cosmo and Lola for cuddles.
Creative Mojo also came in for a group crafting session with residents. They made together a dragonfly collage for World Alzheimer's Month. Anna is very creative and helped residents put together an art piece they are so proud of.
