We have been getting outside as much as possible to soak up the spring sunshine. Our green fingered residents have potted up sunflowers and also spring hanging baskets. There have been so many blue sky days that we took some time to paint our glorious view. We have also had residents' trips to The Colliers Farm Shop and Café and Rowberrys Garden Centre.

We were all super excited to welcome back our favourite furry friends to Summerdyne, Cosmo & Lola. Nothing better than cuddles from pets. The wonderful David from G Fitness has been in to get us moving and exercising. Everyone loves sparring with him with the boxing gloves on! And we marked Earth Day, taking time to stop and appreciate the natural world and our residents, who are very talented florists, made some wonderful bouquets.

Musical entertainment
It is wonderful to have so many regular entertainers coming into our home. We have enjoyed music from Kim the Entertainer, who knows our residents so well and always sings their favourites. Wolfren Riverstick was back my popular demand playing the guitar. We opened all the patio doors so there was a real garden party atmosphere. Then Ian James came by to share some music, laughs and lots of smiles! And last week the JDR trio - the best way to finish the week and welcome in the weekend.
World Cup
We have all drawn countries for our World Cup sweepstake. Residents loved watching the England game and cheering all the goals in the Croatia match. We celebrated their win by playing our own game and scoring our own ‘goals’ with beanbags! Safe to say that we’re all winners.

Summer Fair
The sign is up at the front of our home and it is time again for our Summerdyne Summer Fair on Saturday 4th July.
Raffle tickets are for sale at our reception. As always, we want to say a massive thank you to the generous businesses of Bewdley and Worcestershire for their support, including the wonderful Bewdley Brewery and The Rajah of Bewdley.
Pop in to find out more, you have to be in it to win it!!
Our Summer Fair helps us raise money for our residents’ fund. We are looking for any keen bakers to donate bakes for our cake stall. There will also be a BBQ, refreshments, lots of stalls, a tombola, garden games and entertainment.
