So much fun at Summerdyne this Christmas with lots of partying, singing and dancing. We kicked things off with a singalong with Ian James and then set too decorating our home. A massive thank you to Helen whop brought her creative talent and made everywhere look so festive. If you stopped moving you were baubled!
We also created a stunning Winter Wonderland for our residents to enjoy. There was space to sit inside to take a moment to look at all the decorations, or to show it off to visiting family. The visiting Lollipop Party Ponies also took a look inside for their photos to be taken! They were dressed up as elves and brought their festive magic to all our residents.

Lot of hard work from our staffing team and residents went into our Christmas Fair. There was a raffle, tombola, stalls and refreshments. Plus entertainment from Kim. Just a wonderful day of family and friends. We would like to say a massive thank you to our wonderful volunteers, visitors and to anyone who donated. Thank you to volunteer Libby who popped by before the Fair to give our ladies hand massages and manicures. And thank you to our Lifestyle and Wellbeing team, Georgia, Nataliya & Libby who pulled the whole event together. With your help we managed to raise a whopping £321.16 for our Residents Fund!

We celebrated Christmas Jumper Day and International Volunteers Day. And it wouldn't be Christmas without Panto! A massive thank you to Northeast Productions Ltd for coming in and giving us the full panto experience - oh yes they did! They transported us back to London with a Christmas pantomime of Oliver Twist and we considered ourselves at home!
Another fabulous singalong of the Christmas classics with Ian James took us up to the big day itself. A visit from Santa on Christmas Eve was the icing on the cake and of course all of our residents were on his good list!
