Christmas plans at Summerdyne

At Halloween, we had a visit from The Lollipop Ponies, two gorgeous Shetlands: Moomin was dressed up as a witch and Lollipop as a pumpkin. They are so gentle and brought smiles all round.  We also had a wonderful visit from Bears Day Care for some trick or treating fun! We dressed up, and carved pumpkins and then had a film afternoon watch Ghostbusters.

Thanks to our wonderful staff on Bonfire Night, we were able to continue our tradition of sparklers and a fireworks display.

We also took part in Wear It Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness.

"You said, We did" survey results

Thank you to all families and friends who replied to our "You Said, We Did" survey in October. Surveys such as this are a requirement of our regulator, The Care Quality Commission.

It was wonderful to receive such positive feedback.

Our team are "chatting & sharing & SMILING." "Nursing and managerial care are exemplary."

Summerdyne "feels like home" and "The feeling of love being given freely by staff to residents is evident. All the staff members appear happy. The residents are content."
